The first Annual Report of the Observatory on International Markets analyses the most relevant factors that configure the probable evolution of the international markets, their effect on world commerce and on our own economy and business environment.

This approach to the reality of our environment raises up new elements such as the redistribution of global economic potential; changes in the “rules of the game”, impressive technological progresses, new rules of competition, bigger mobility of productive resources, changes in consumption and work habits, and new demands to improve the countries’ competitive base, while maintaining the social welfare.

The report analyses how all of these trends configure a new space which determines the subsequent action in the area of business and the economy, and makes us reflect on the role, present and future, that they play in the internationalisation of our country within this new and complex global reality.
